Adolfo Ramón


Was born in Sarrión (Teruel), Spain in 1947.

From 1961 until 1964 he attended the Free Academy "Barreira" and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts
in Valencia, taking courses in drawing.

He has been living in Holland since 1965.

Between 1968 and 1973 he attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. Teachers were,
among others, P. Giltay, H. Berserik, D. van Gelder and C. Bol.

In 1973 he won the first price for photografy in the category "Black and White" of the "Biennâle Lancôme" in Paris.
Since that year he has been exhibiting regulary both in Holland and abroad (Germany, Monaco, Spain, U.S.A.).

His work has been included in private and municipal collections in Holland and abroad.

In 1996 he became a member of the etching group of The Hague "Haagse Etsclub".

Since 2006 he lives and works in Spain.

In 2009 he has started to give private drawing and painting courses and workshops.
